The Richardson Housing Group has a 30 year tradition of providing quality and value to the metro Atlanta home buying public.

In 1973, Allen Richardson realized a long time dream when he founded his own homebuilding company - Richardson Housing Group. Allen learned the basics of homebuilding from his father Melvin, who provided financial support and expertise in the early days of the company.

In its first year, Richardson Housing Group employed two people, Allen and Melvin, and built approximately 10 homes. Since then, Richardson Housing Group has grown to build approximately 150 homes a year and now employs 28 individuals. At Richardson Housing Group, it is truly a family business as Allen's wife Ann serves as the company's vice president. Their son Mark joined the business in 1996 and serves as vice president of development. Son-in-law Jason West joined the team in 2003 as vice president of marketing.
